A History of Excellence
NCC Apparel is a family owned business based in Dandenong Victoria that can trace its roots back to 1912 when a family member established a pioneering tailors workshop in Fiji. Successive generations of the Solanki family have grown the business to the extent that it is now a major supplier of protective clothing to the service industries in Australia. Product is sourced from the family owned and operated state of the art manufacturing facility in Fiji that employs in excess of five-hundred personnel. In addition to that, product is also sourced from Asia from a number of reliable and reputable factories.
NCC is an ISO9001 Quality Management Certified company that produces garments for the hospitality, medical, oil & gas and mining industries as well as general industrial workwear. It also supports the emergency services sector with the provision of specialist garments. The Fiji factory is licensed to produce wildland garments certified to AS/NZS 4824:2006.
NCC recognises and understands that many of its customers have specialised needs and has built its business and reputation on servicing those needs. A team of over twenty product development personnel are able to design and develop high quality cost effective tailored garments in a range of fabrics to meet customer specific requirements.
Unlike a number of companies that outsource production of garments to third party suppliers NCC has total control over the design, development, manufacture, quality and delivery of the products it produces and sells. Flexible manufacturing processes allow short turn-around times to be achieved for urgently required product and one off made to measure garments can also be produced as part of the service that NCC can offer to its customers. NCC’s goal is to provide its customers with cost effective quality products that are supported by high levels of customer service delivered on time with honesty and integrity.
